Piacere!

Mi chiamo Santino Santinelli, sono Italiano (di Ascoli Pieno, Marche), 37 anni, marito, papà, amante del cibo e dell'arte, sportivo. Slava ucraini!

Sono un insegnante di lingue e insegno italiano, inglese e tedesco. Mi sono laureato in Lingue Straniere presso l'Università di Urbino. Ho viaggiato in molti paesi europei. Ho trascorso diversi mesi in Germania e in Irlanda dove ho studiato e lavorato. Queste esperienze mi hanno aiutato a migliorare la mia personalità e le mie conoscenze. Insegno in scuole pubbliche e private a studenti di tutto il mondo.

Sono una persona molto curiosa, mi piace viaggiare, visitare posti nuovi, imparare cose nuove, scoprire culture e tradizioni. Mi piace parlare di ogni argomento. Oltre ad insegnare, mi piace promuovere il territorio in cui vivo: Ascoli Piceno, uno delle città più belle e meno conosciute d'Italia. My Idea of Teaching

Insegnare non è facile, ma è un bel lavoro e significa tutto per me! Lavoro sodo, dedicandomi ai miei studenti con passione, pazienza, competenza, cortesia e flessibilità. Insegnare online è fantastico, ma il momento più bello è quando finalmente incontro i miei studenti ad Ascoli Piceno: chiacchierare con loro in italiano e vedere come si divertono a lezione con me e mentre visitano la mia città. In queste lezioni si impara molto di più delle semplici regole grammaticali o i detti comuni: qualcosa che coinvolge la cultura, le tradizioni e lo stile di vita!

Mission

Studying languages is not simple, but it's beautiful and my mission is to help you achieve your aim!I explain grammar in a simple way with the help of many websites and books. After the explanation, I stimulate the student to write sentences or to fill in exercises, as well as to give me examples out loud. The learning of the language is also improved through reading articles, magazines, blogs and books, doing homework, by composing written texts, using apps and listening to audiobooks and podcasts. In add, I weekly write and post on my blog articles of different levels, with the aim to give my students more tests to read and to inform them about Italian culture, tradition and lifestyle!

Method

Basic and Intermediate Levels

Half of the lesson will be spent studying grammar, while the remaining time is used to talk about many different topics, culture and lifestyle. Italian language is mainly used and grammar is explained in Italian too (depending on the comprehension ability of each student). Switching Italian and English could be useful only for beginners. Students are always encouraged to do their homework, as well as to review the grammar studied during the lessons. I usually suggest students to use a book. I weekly send my students tailored exercises and written explanations.

Advanced Level

Most of the time of the class is spent with conversation in Italian language about different topics and grammar won't be explained anymore, except some specific situations. The main purpose of the lesson is to teach students to understand and use complicated sentences, formal words, common sayings and proverbs. I weekly send students articles and podcasts from different national newspapers ad magazines.

I feel like I have achieved my goal, only when my students feel pleased. For this reason I teach Italian with passion, patience, competence, courtesy and flexibility!
